The roles have been reversed! We are excited to add a new feature to our newsletter that puts the moderators of our fansites on the other end of an interview. Join us each month as we talk to our fansite moderators and find out what makes them tick. This month, we drew names from a hat and chose Marcus Held, from EarthriseHQ.de, to start us off.
This month we've decided to test your Earthrise knowledge with a bit of game trivia. The first five readers to email the correct answer to earthrise@tapin.net will not only be credited for having a remarkable memory (or quick search skills), but will also receive an exclusive Earthrise t-shirt. Happy hunting and please do not post your answers in the forums!
Often considered a threat due to their dedication to technological innovation, what organization can be credited with the creation of mechanical exoskeletons?

Greetings to our community!
In case you've been away, or even if you haven't been able to keep up with the forums lately, here's the latest news and hot topics of interest for you all to quickly stay in the know.
For example, October and early November provided us with an explosion of artistic activity. Axllow18 continues to share several well executed pieces, starting with his quickly doodled character concept Marx Grimm. Newcomer Ronan made an elegant first impression on all of us with his official artwork manipulation and wallpapers, too. We highly recommend taking time out to enjoy the work of these artists, and are proud to say our community hosts a lot of creative individuals!
Unfortunately, while a creative streak lurks in the forums, our community turned out to be a bit on the shy side with regards to our Earthrise Costume Contest and so we don't have pictures to share from that. That's all right though - we'll be hosting plenty of opportunities in the next few months for our community to show us that creative side we know is there!
As the debate heated up over the ability to turn off scenery, people continued to weigh in on some long standing topics such as female alts (and alts in general), crafting, player housing, guilds and game hype. For the Question of the Week, after jumping straight in at the beginning of the month discussing stamina, we shifted gears a bit to discuss the peaceful player's lifestyle. After that, we took a look at bounties again and went in depth for crafters, sneaking past the end of the month and into November to address the proper care and feeding of guilds, delighting many a potential guild leader and member. Want the details? Just visit the Question of the Week forum!
With the release of our last newsletter, the community was all a'flutter with talk of beta again, having devoted a significant portion of energy early in the month wondering if there would be (and indeed, if there should be) consideration over forum activity as a way in to beta. While the community was relatively divided on the topic, we can state that for the latest information on the beta, interested testers might wish to keep an eye on the announcements forum, the front page of the main site and of course the monthly newsletter.
While that's all I've got for now, I'd like to remind everyone this only just a small sample of the activity around the forums. If you haven't stopped by, please feel free to join in and perhaps add your fresh perspective to our topics of the day.
See you next month!
- Moll
