In August, the community's thoughts turned toward the world itself, as our questions of the week focused on the organizations of Enterra, terrain types, and even the size of the map. As more information was revealed through the month, the conversation returned to discussing single vs. multiple servers, with many making interesting and valid points for both viewpoints.

This month's fan fiction selection is "Recurrence", straight from Club Earthrise - our haven for all fan art and fiction needs.

"Five hours before Orville Breen died, bombs were exploding in a controlled perimeter around Millicent Square in Old Town, a perfectly choreographed fireworks display of shockwaves and shrapnel and annihilation, a cascade bow of chain reactions working their inevitable way through crumbling buildings, abandoned streets, mutant flesh, one collateral, and back to where it started. Then Orville extended his hand, and the destruction stopped."

Thank you, Throwback! Please feel free to leave comments for our authors and artists, or better yet, if you're inspired - post your own tale in our roleplay forums.

As our community grows, we are seeing a lot of new people who are joining us from other games. Moving on from other games isn't the end of the world, but some of our community members want to know, "What could YOU offer in an 'end of the world' scenario?" over in Off-Topic. Come read about the varied skills your fellow community members have and feel free to share your thoughts. With summer winding down our Off-Topic forum is heating up with plenty of forum games, or get to know other members of the community in the irc channel that has been set up.

It was great to see so many people at our September Stratics House of Commons chat, and read the reaction afterwards! Entertaining as ever, it held lots of intriguing questions and answers (check out the log). Held every once in a while and hosted by our good friends at Stratics, our House of Commons chats are an excellent way to get a lot of diverse questions answered in a short time frame. We look forward to seeing you all at the next one (likely in November), so stay tuned to our announcements forums for more details.
